The Bungalow Pit

Literally every room in the house was wallpapered when we got it; the living room, den, dining room, hall, bedroom, office, bathroom, sun room and kitchen. If they could, I think they would have wallpapered the cellar.

We picked the guest room as our master bedroom because it had an uncommonly large double door closet that just might store all of Rachel’s shoes.

Rachel decided we needed at least one sanctuary in the house during the renovation and picked the bedroom—of course. This meant we had to learn the joys of wallpaper removal.

We discovered there was once a door connecting the bedroom to the den on the other side of the wall. This had been (poorly) closed up at some point.

After the wallpaper was removed, we had to wash the walls to get the paste off, a little light sanding, a few coats of primer, a few coats of paint, and we were almost done. We had our drapes from our old place altered and put them up in the bed room and viola!
