Laundry Room

During the house inspection it was discovered that the (old) hot water heater, (filthy) washing machine and (dirty) dryer were, “at the end of their life and need to be replaced.” Of course they are, so does everything else.

Maybe we can put that off for a bit though? Turns out, no. Weeks after moving in, the hot water heater burst and started spraying the ceiling. I was able to patch it, buying us some time, but we needed to replace it. Rachel and I decided we were going to do everything right, or not at all. So, I started looking into tankless water heaters. I ordered a Noritz Residential N-0751M-OD Outdoor Tankless Heater through DesignerPlumbing.com — free shipping, no tax! We installed it outside and gained all the space the old heater use to take up.

Soon after, we decided a new washer and dryer were in order as the old ones were creepy and nothing seemed clean coming from something so dirty. A trip to The Great Indoors later and we had a new Kenmore Elite HE5 duo.
